Windows 8

Inainte de a termina dezvoltarea Windows 7, Microsoft lucra deja la Windows 8. Diferite echipe lucrau la diferite aspecte ale proiectului, lucru care le-a permis sa faca asta.

Se pare ca un angajat de la Microsoft a scapat informatii interesante despre windows 8 pe profilul acestuia de Linkedln. Mai jos veti vedea despre ce e vorba:

“Robert Morgan is working to get IA-128 working backwards with full binary compatibility on the existing IA-64 instructions in the hardware simulation to work for Windows 8 and definitely Windows 9.”

“Robert Morgan is using Hestia (custom software package) for experimenting with the processor for scientific analysis and 3D graphics. Error: Memory Latency? Always gotta be a challenge barrier, it’s gotta be a bug in Hestia. right?!”

Pe scurt, se pare ca windows 9 va avea suport pentru procesoare pe 128-biti, dar nu se stie sigur daca va avea si in Windows 8. Multi cred ca Windows 7 va fi ultimul cu suport pe 32-biti.

Cat despre lansare, se asteapta sa fie undeva in 2012, totusi nu se stie nimic din surse oficiale. Ramane de vazut cand se va lansa oficial si ce noutati va aduce. Dar un lucru e aproape sigur, Windows 7 a fost platforma de lansare pentru o noua generatie de sisteme de operare de la Microsoft.
